Challenge: Design an intuitive interface for a complex enterprise AI platform—making AI integration accessible without sacrificing power, flexibility, or compliance across regulated industries.

Approach: I worked with the client to define the product vision and evolve it from investor concepts into a production-ready platform. The focus was on clarity and usability: designing drag-and-drop workflows, intuitive navigation, and streamlined deployment flows. I also contributed to website and marketing updates, ensuring a consistent, accessible product story across all touchpoints.

Research & Exploration

I started with in-depth research into industry requirements and user needs to define the platform’s core functionality. By exploring real-world AI workflow use cases across multiple sectors, I shaped a design approach that balanced simplicity with robustness. This research laid the foundation for a user-centered experience while addressing the specific regulatory and operational challenges of industries such as financial services and healthcare.

Wireframing & Iterations

I developed wireframes focused on simplifying complex tasks such as workflow creation and deployment. Through multiple iterations, I refined the layouts to help users move effortlessly between workflows, metrics, and AI interactions. These wireframes served as the foundation for an intuitive interface that reduces the learning curve for non-technical users while remaining flexible and scalable for advanced use cases.

Design System

To ensure consistency and scalability, I adopted GitHub’s Primer design system as a foundation, enabling smooth collaboration with developers. I then customized the system to align with DYNAMIQ’s visual identity, ensuring it supported both functional requirements and the product’s overall aesthetic.

Features / Workflows

The drag-and-drop workflow builder enables users to create complex AI workflows by selecting modules, configuring states, and connecting tools such as OpenAI and databases. The layout prioritizes visual clarity, allowing users to manage inputs, outputs, and error handling with ease. The workflow creation experience is streamlined to support both non-technical users and advanced technical use cases.

Deployments & Metrics

AI workflow deployment is managed through a straightforward interface that guides users from development to production. Key metrics - such as performance and efficiency - are clearly surfaced, with real-time monitoring to support informed decision-making. The deployment experience is designed to be accessible, providing a clear and confident path from initial setup to final output.

Observability

The platform’s observability features allow users to monitor every interaction within their workflows. Logging, quality evaluation, and compliance tracking are built directly into the experience, enabling teams to track changes and maintain control over deployments. This ensures workflow operations remain transparent, reliable, and auditable.

Guardrails & Fine-Tuning

The platform incorporates built-in guardrails to ensure compliance and accuracy in AI-generated outputs. Validation prompts and error-checking are clearly presented, allowing users to fine-tune workflows with minimal friction. This approach maintains reliability while preserving flexibility for ongoing adjustments.

Collaboration

Collaboration features such as shared workflows and access-controlled spaces enable teams to work together efficiently. Workflows can be easily shared, reviewed, and managed in real time, improving team productivity while maintaining strong data security and access control.

Branding & Website

Beyond the core product UI/UX, branding and website design were developed to reflect DYNAMIQ’s innovative and technical positioning. A clean, minimalist visual style was used to reinforce clarity and professionalism. The website emphasizes simplicity and functionality, helping visitors quickly understand the platform’s capabilities while remaining visually engaging.
